Building Practical Digital Skills for the Future.
Introducing participants to practical Artificial Intelligence tools for creativity, productivity, personal development and business growth.
The Free Online AI Class 2026 organised by the Young Leaders Initiative (YLI) was successfully held on Thursday, 28 May 2026. The virtual learning programme was created to give participants practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence and demonstrate how emerging digital tools can be applied to everyday creativity, work, learning and business.
The programme was built around a simple objective: to make Artificial Intelligence practical, accessible and useful. Rather than presenting AI only as a complex technology, participants were introduced to tools and applications they could begin exploring and applying in their personal and professional lives.
Participants explored practical AI tools and learned how they can be applied to everyday tasks and real-world situations.
Learners explored image, video, music, audio and content-generation possibilities using AI-powered tools.
The class demonstrated how AI can enhance productivity, support business activities and create new monetisation opportunities.
Participants gained foundational knowledge to help them remain relevant and adaptable in an evolving digital world.
Making Artificial Intelligence Practical
During the class, participants received a practical introduction to different AI tools and how they can be used to simplify tasks, generate ideas, create digital content and improve productivity.
The session helped participants move beyond simply hearing about Artificial Intelligence to gaining a clearer understanding of what AI tools can actually do and how they can be applied in real-world situations.
Exploring AI for Creative Content
A major part of the class focused on the growing role of AI in digital creativity. Participants explored image generation, learning how AI can assist in creating visual content from ideas and prompts.
They were also introduced to video creation from images and prompts, demonstrating how visual materials and ideas can be transformed into engaging video content with AI-powered tools. The programme further explored music and content generation, showing participants how AI can support creative development across different types of media.
Text-to-Speech and Digital Communication
Participants were introduced to text-to-speech technology and other AI-assisted communication tools. The session demonstrated how written content can be converted into audio and how such tools can support content creators, educators, businesses and individuals seeking more efficient ways to communicate.
Discovering Free AI Tools and Platforms
One objective of the programme was to show participants that they do not necessarily need expensive software before they can begin exploring Artificial Intelligence.
The class introduced learners to free AI tools and platforms, giving them opportunities to continue learning, practising and developing their skills beyond the training session. This encouraged participants to see AI learning as an ongoing journey rather than knowledge limited to a single event.
Creativity and Productivity With AI
The programme demonstrated how Artificial Intelligence can support both creativity and productivity. Participants explored ways AI can assist with brainstorming, content development, communication and other everyday digital tasks.
Participants were encouraged to see AI as a supportive tool that can help them work more efficiently while still applying their own creativity, ideas and judgement.
Business Productivity and Monetisation Opportunities
The class also explored the relationship between AI and entrepreneurship. Participants were introduced to ways digital tools can improve business productivity and support the development of new income-generating opportunities.
The discussions encouraged learners to think about how AI could help them create services, improve existing businesses, develop digital products and discover new approaches to solving problems for customers.
Creating Opportunities for Digital Growth
Beyond individual tools, the programme encouraged participants to think more broadly about opportunities emerging within the digital economy.
The session provided insights into how Artificial Intelligence can support personal development, professional advancement and business growth. Participants were encouraged to continue strengthening their digital competence so they can better position themselves for opportunities created by rapidly evolving technologies.
Developing Future-Ready Skills
Technology continues to change the way people work, communicate, create and do business. Developing the ability to understand and use emerging technologies is therefore becoming increasingly important.
Through the Free Online AI Class, participants gained foundational knowledge designed to help them remain relevant and adaptable in an increasingly digital world. The programme was not intended to make participants AI experts in a single session. Instead, it provided a practical starting point by introducing useful tools, demonstrating possibilities and encouraging continued learning.
Recognising Participation
Qualified participants were eligible to receive Certificates of Participation, recognising their involvement in the programme and their commitment to developing relevant digital skills.
The certificate represented an important milestone, but the greater objective was to encourage participants to continue learning, experimenting and applying the knowledge gained during the class.
Learn. Create. Earn. Impact.
The Free Online AI Class 2026 reflects the Young Leaders Initiative's commitment to helping people develop practical skills that can improve their lives and expand their opportunities.
By providing accessible training in Artificial Intelligence, YLI seeks to help participants become more confident users of technology — capable of learning, creating, developing opportunities and contributing meaningfully within the digital economy.
